Mary Shannon

Mary was born in May 1897 in Massachusetts, United States.¹ Mary's father was Barney and her mother was Mary "Minnie" Smyth. Her paternal grandfather was Henry Shannon and her paternal grandmother is Mary McGolrick; her maternal grandparents were James I Smyth and Catherine Farnand. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Henry Francis, James Edward, Joseph Michael, John Paul, Bernard Emmett, Arthur Thomas, Uncle "OOUIE", William R, Edwin Vincent, Frances and "Little Minnie" or part of "Minnie and Art ".. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
