James Beasley Riggs

James Beasley was born about 1805 in Craven Co. NC. James Beasley's father was John Riggs and his mother was Mary (Polly) Hardison Beasley. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Beasley and Mary Hardison. He had a brother and two sisters, named John Richard, Sarah Beasley and Dorcas. He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Soloman, Jesse, Sally Ann, Salina Jane and Drucillia Ann.
