Female Dorcas Riggs

Dorcas was born in 1839 in Craven Co. NC.1   Dorcas' father was John Riggs and her mother was Mary (Polly) Hardison Beasley.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Beasley and Mary Hardison. She had two brothers and a sister, named James Beasley, John Richard and Sarah Beasley.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Soloman, Jesse, Sally Ann, Salina Jane and Drucillia Ann.  She died in Duncan, Harnett, North Carolina.
