Cornelia Riggs

Cornelia was born in 1846 in Craven Co. NC.¹ Cornelia's father was John Richard Riggs and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Ann Wise. Her paternal grandparents were John Riggs and Mary (Polly) Hardison Beasley; her maternal grandparents were John Riggs and Druchania Stanley. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Henry, Joseph, Alfred and Dorcas. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
