John Lawrence McCotter

John Lawrence was born in 1917 in North Carolina.¹ John Lawrence's father was John L McCotter and his mother was Flora E Tingle. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin McCotter and Britann Saywer. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Cecil Ray, Clifton Lawrence, Perry Etha, Burnie R, Bennie, Sarah Wilma and Mildred E. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 89 on September 7th, 2006 in Oriental, NC.
