Clifton Lawrence McCotter

Clifton Lawrence was born on June 8th, 1909 in NC.¹ Clifton Lawrence's father was John L McCotter and his mother was Flora E Tingle. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin McCotter and Britann Saywer. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Cecil Ray, Perry Etha, John Lawrence, Burnie R, Bennie, Sarah Wilma and Mildred E. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on October 26th, 1984 in New Bern, Craven Co., NC.¹
