Dorothy Cotton

Dorothy was born in 1572 in Combermere, Cheshire, , England. Dorothy's father was Sir Richard Cotton and her mother was Mary Mainwaring. Her paternal grandparents were Sir George Cotton Knight and Mary Onley; her maternal grandparents were Arthur Mainwaring and Margaret Mainwaring. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Arthur, Andrew, Mary, Frances, Elizabeth and Winifred. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on April 7th, 1647 in Wrenbury, Cheshire, , England.
