Hester Magdalena van Blerk (Ackerman) 
Hester Magdalena was born on May 26th, 1850. Hester Magdalena's father was Simon Petrus van Blerk and her mother was Anna Margaretha van der Merwe (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Petrus van Blerk and Geertruida Elizabeth Louw (van Blerk). She had two brothers named Nicolaas Philip and Philip Petrus. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Jacobus Adrijan Rozier, Simon Petrus, Petrus Gerhardus Louw, Jan Albertus, Gerhadus, Johanna Petronella, Jacomina Aletta, Anna Magrita, Cornelia Johanna Jacoba, Martha Berrenda, Catharina Christina and Ragel Elizabeth. She died at the age of 80 on July 20th, 1930. She was buried in Wakkerstroom Heritage Cemetery, Volksrust Mpumalanga.-
