Newton Franklin Gammon

Newton Franklin was born on August 2nd, 1856 in Leon, Decatur, Iowa, United States.¹ Newton Franklin's father was James Wilkenson Gammon and his mother was Armilda Eliza Myers. His paternal grandparents were Dozier Brawner Gammon and Lavina Letitia Turbeville; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Myers and Jane.
