Lydia was born in year 1725 in Suffolk, Whatfield and was baptised on March 29th, 1725. Lydia's father was William Coufsins and her mother was Lydia. Her paternal grandparents were William Coufsins and Elizabeth Angier; her. She was the youngest of eight children. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, Edward, Samuel, John, Mary and Sarah.
