Edgar, known as Edgar, was born on March 18th, 1885.1   Edgar's father was Hugh BOYD and his mother was Elizabeth ALLISON.  His paternal grandparents are Robert BOYD and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, Robert, James, Joseph, John, Garfield, Samuel and Kate.  He was the youngest of the nine children.
