Sarah Thornton

Sarah was born in 1852 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Sarah's father was William Thornton and her mother was Mary (Thornton). Her paternal grandparents were Unknown Thornton and Mary (Thornton). She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph A, Charles, William, Margaret Ann, Grace, Elizabeth J and Alice. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
