Charles Thornton

Charles was born in 1858 in Riddlesden, Yorkshire, England.¹ Charles' father was William Thornton and his mother was Mary (Thornton). His paternal grandparents were Unknown Thornton and Mary (Thornton). He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph A, William, Margaret Ann, Sarah, Grace, Elizabeth J and Alice. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
