Alice Thornton

Alice was born in 1865 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Alice's father was William Thornton and her mother was Mary (Thornton). Her paternal grandparents were Unknown Thornton and Mary (Thornton). She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph A, Charles, William, Margaret Ann, Sarah, Grace and Elizabeth J. She was the youngest of the eight children.
