Samuel Thornton

Samuel was born in 1820 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Samuel's father was Thomas Thornton and his mother was Harriet Asquith. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Hannah and Ann. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 66 on December 1st, 1886 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
