Laviena Thornton

Laviena was born in 1867 in Barnoldswick, Yorkshire, England.¹ Laviena's father was James Thornton and her mother was Ellen Hartley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Thornton and Agnes (Thornton). She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Dick, Alfred, Charles, Mary and Emma. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
