Walter Petty

Walter was born in 1863 in Rawcliffe, Yorkshire, England.¹ Walter's father was William Petty and his mother was Mary Ann Gibson. His paternal grandparents were John Petty and Elizabeth Hirst. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George William, John H, Arthur, James Frederick, Emily and Mary A. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
