Mary Petty

Mary was born in 1731 in Storiths, Hazlewood, Skipton, Yorkshire, England. Mary's father was Joseph Petty and her mother was Ann Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Petyt and Alice Lowcock. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Richard, William, Margaret, Abigail, Elleanor, Hannah and Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
