John Petty

John was born on June 11th, 1845 in Wingham Terr, Sheepscar, Leeds, Yorkshire, England. John's father was John William Petty and his mother was Sarah Stephenson. His paternal grandparents were John Petty and Elizabeth Hirst. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Wesley, Benjamin, Mary Elizabeth, Annie, Catherine and Sarah Hannah. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 32 on March 3rd, 1878 in Rio DE Janeiro.
