Benjamin Petty

Benjamin was born on May 22nd, 1852 in Sheepscar, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Benjamin's father was John William Petty and his mother was Sarah Stephenson. His paternal grandparents were John Petty and Elizabeth Hirst. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Wesley, Mary Elizabeth, Annie, Catherine and Sarah Hannah. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 in 1922 in Bournemouth.
