Edith Petty

Edith was born on April 9th, 1874 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Edith's father was Wesley Petty and her mother was Frances Elizabeth Harrison. Her paternal grandparents were John William Petty and Sarah Stephenson. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named John Harrison, William Edward, Ernest Routledge, Charles Edgar, Wilfred S, Frank, Edward Harold, Arthur Wesley, Nellie, Frances Mary, Christina Alice and Katharine Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.
