George William Newiss

George William was born on October 10th, 1879 in North Street, Ripon.¹ George William's father was William Newiss and his mother was Eliza Ellen Hall. His paternal grandparents were John Newiss and Mary Turner. He had three brothers and a sister, named Albert Edward, Herbert Thomas, Arthur Frederick and Maude Helen. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 58 on February 11th, 1938 in Crewe. His burial was on February 15th, 1938 in Wybunbury Churchyard.
