Hannah was born in 1839.  Hannah's father was Thomas George and her mother was Catherine  Tooth.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard George  and Ann ?. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, James, Alfred, Catherine, Maria, Emily and Ellen.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
