David Webster

David was born on February 14th, 1754. David's father was Jonathan Webster and his mother was Dorothy Hills. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Webster and Mary Strong; his maternal grandparents were Phillip Hills and Hannah Cutter. He had six brothers named Jonathan, James, Israel, William, Zenas and Benoni. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Ruel, Gershom, Laban, Molly, Aaron, Dolly and Ruth. He died at the age of 65 on October 15th, 1819.

General Notes
- David's name appears on the Lexington Alarm List for a service of four days in April, 1775, from the town of Lebanon, Capt. James Clar's Company. Also served in the 10th Co., Capt. John Ripley of Windham, 8th Regt., Col. Jedidiah Huntington of Norwich, from July 11, to Dec. 18, 1775 - Regt. recruital mainly in New London, Hartford and Windham Counties - was stationed on the Sound until September 14, when it was ordered to Boston Camp, and took part at Rocbury in Gen. Spencer's Brigade.
  
  David lived at Lebanon, Connecticut, and then later in Grafton, Rensselaer County, New York, where he died.
