William M. McCown 
William M. was born on August 5th, 1829 in Indiana, USA.1 William M.'s father was James M. McCown and his mother was Nancy Mourning Lewis. His maternal grandparents were Zacharias Lewis and Winifred Mustain. He had a brother and five sisters, named Elijah Thomas, Eliza A, Nancy J, Mary J., Sarah Ann and Margaret Jane. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 46 in 1875 in Windsor, Henry, Missouri, USA. He was buried in Laurel Oak Cemetery.2 -
