Mary J. McCown 
Mary J. was born on December 29th, 1820 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, USA. Mary J.'s father was James M. McCown and her mother was Nancy Mourning Lewis. Her maternal grandparents were Zacharias Lewis and Winifred Mustain. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Elijah Thomas, William M., Eliza A, Nancy J, Sarah Ann and Margaret Jane. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 88 on November 23rd, 1909 in Cloud County, Kansas, USA. She was buried in Enterprise Cemetery.1 -
