Auguste was born on November 12th, 1902 in E Prussia.1   Auguste's father was Gottleib Pieniak and her mother was Auguste Benzko/Benzler/Benczyk.  Her paternal grandparents were Johann Pienak and Regine Jeromin. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Johann, Karl, Gustav, Charlotte, Amalie, Luise and Maria.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 15 on October 12th, 1918.
