Walter Lowdnes

Walter was born in 1878 in Fenton, Staffordshire.¹ Walter's father was George Lowndes and his mother was Annie Emery. His paternal grandparents were John Lowndes and Mary Dawson; his maternal grandparents were William Emery and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, George, John, Timothy, David, Henry, Mary and Sarah. He was the youngest of the nine children.
