Eva May Dobyns 
Eva May was born on February 19th, 1902 in Bedford Co, Va. Eva May's father was William Whitfield Dobyns and her mother was Victoria Catherine Ashwell. Her paternal grandparents were Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin; her maternal grandparents were Carey Austin Ashwell and Frances West Howell. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Austin, "Griff", "Colear", Jesse Lee, Opie, Hugh, Cora Malvina and Nina Lois. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas Sherwood and Alice Julia. She died at the age of 84 on May 13th, 1986 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City, Va.
