Nina Lois Dobyns 
Nina Lois was born on August 7th, 1899 in Bedford Co, Va. Nina Lois' father was William Whitfield Dobyns and her mother was Victoria Catherine Ashwell. Her paternal grandparents were Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin; her maternal grandparents were Carey Austin Ashwell and Frances West Howell. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Austin, "Griff", "Colear", Jesse Lee, Opie, Hugh, Cora Malvina and Eva May. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas Sherwood and Alice Julia. She died at the age of 82 on October 7th, 1981 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City, Va.
