Cora Malvina Dobyns 
Cora Malvina was born on September 7th, 1898 in Bedford Co, Va. Cora Malvina's father was William Whitfield Dobyns and her mother was Victoria Catherine Ashwell. Her paternal grandparents were Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin; her maternal grandparents were Carey Austin Ashwell and Frances West Howell. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Austin, "Griff", "Colear", Jesse Lee, Opie, Hugh, Nina Lois and Eva May. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas Sherwood and Alice Julia. She died at the age of 63 on May 16th, 1962 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City, Va.
