Joanna's baptism took place on February 25th, 1770 in North Bradley.1  Joanna's father was Joseph Read and her mother was Ann Bennet.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Bennett and Grace. She had two brothers and five sisters, named James, Charles, Susanna, Susanna, Ann, Joanna and Joanna.  She died in 1770.  She was buried on April 11th, 1770 in North Bradley.2
