Joanna's baptism took place on April 5th, 1778 in North Bradley.1  Joanna's father was Joseph Read and her mother was Ann Bennet.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Bennett and Grace. She had two brothers and five sisters, named James, Charles, Susanna, Joanna, Susanna, Ann and Joanna.  She died in 1778.  She was buried on June 28th, 1778 in North Bradley.2
