Ann was born about 1757 and her baptism took place on August 12th, 1770 in North Bradley.1  Ann's father was James Read and her mother was <Unknown>. She had three brothers and a sister, named James, John, Nathaniel and Cathrine. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph, James, Shem, Ham, Sarah, Jane, Sarah and Jane.
