Mary's baptism took place on November 20th, 1774 in North Bradley.1  Mary's father was Jeremiah Butcher and her mother was Betty (Eliz.) Palmer.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Butcher and Mary Frances. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Francis, Robert, Joseph, John, Betty, Mary, Jane, Ann, Frances and Joanna.  She died in 1784.  She was buried on August 2nd, 1784 in North Bradley.2
