Francis' baptism took place on March 21st, 1779 in North Bradley.1  Francis' father was Jeremiah Butcher and his mother was Betty (Eliz.) Palmer.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Butcher and Mary Frances. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Joseph, John, Mary, Betty, Mary, Jane, Ann, Frances and Joanna.  He died in 1786.  He was buried on May 19th, 1786 in North Bradley.2
