Nguyễn Thị Hồng Cẫm (Thứ 2)

Hồng Cẫm (Thứ 2) was born in 1933 in Thạnh Phú. Hồng Cẫm (Thứ 2)'s father was Nguyễn Hữu Tâm (Thứ 3) and her mother is Mai Thị Cúc (thứ 7). Her paternal grandparents were Nguyễn Hữu Hành and Ngô Thị Thông; her maternal grandparents were Mai Văn Danh and Ngà Thị Ngà. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Lỉnh (Thứ 6), Bé(Thứ7), Năng (Thứ 10), Ninh (Út), Ðiệp (Thứ 3), Lài (Thứ 4), Sứ (Thứ 5), Ni (Thứ 9) and Nê (Thứ 8). She is the oldest of the ten children.

General Notes
- She was never married. All of her life was to take care for her youmger brothers and sisters when they were young and for her parents when they get old. She remarkably acheived her education gold and graduated as a mid wife frome National midwife school. She was the head of maternity section of Nguyễn Đình Chiểu Hospital (t Ben tre). After many years working for the goverment, she resigned from the hospital and opened her own maternity clinic in Bentre. After 1975, she retired and went back to Vinh Hoa, her native village, lived with her elderly parents. She was the one who daily took care of her father who suffered a stroke was in for 4 long years .She was with him every single minute till he passed away. She is now taking care of her eldewrlymother Aunty Hong Cam was extremely pious to her parents. She was also an extreme responsible sister, who sacrificed her own life for the sake of her siblings.

Education Details
- Hồng Cẫm (Thứ 2) attended National Institute of Midwife (Maternity college) full time for a college course. She completed the program and was awarded a diploma.
