  • Grqand Pa " Mai Van Danh"  was murrdered in a situatuion similar to grand Pa "Nguyẽn Hữu Hành". Insurgence  who were French militants combined with soldiers in the ouposts robbed and killed  him on the way they delivered him to the precinc office. • General Notes
  • Mai Van Danh was Born in a poor family. He lost mother  when he was very young. IHe struggled so hard  find the way to get out of poverty by edgucated himselsed, by hard work, by saving and smartly investing  in land. Started as a wage laborer, he  gradually moved his way up to landlord .He owned  more than   50 Ha of coconut and mixed crops  farm land, a record by that time. He main gold was to invest in educcation for children. All of his children were sent to chools  in the city or capital even in France for education He was the che chief of village ( Ông cả), He set aside a piece of land  to be used as public cimetery.( Vườn mồ côi) . When he reached middle aged (1950) the French colonisation was about to be ended and  at the same time   the communist activities were booming everywhere. During the chaotics situations,  there were power struggerling beetween rebellians,  French armed militants,  outlaws, and  the onset of communist agression, He was murdered  at his house, properly by armed millitants acting as robbers. He dead is still mythical .
