Nguyễn Thị Lài (Thứ 4)

Lài (Thứ 4) was born in 1935. Lài (Thứ 4)'s father was Nguyễn Hữu Tâm (Thứ 3) and her mother is Mai Thị Cúc (thứ 7). Her paternal grandparents were Nguyễn Hữu Hành and Ngô Thị Thông; her maternal grandparents were Mai Văn Danh and Ngà Thị Ngà. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Lỉnh (Thứ 6), Bé(Thứ7), Năng (Thứ 10), Ninh (Út), Hồng Cẫm (Thứ 2), Ðiệp (Thứ 3), Sứ (Thứ 5), Ni (Thứ 9) and Nê (Thứ 8). She is the third oldest of the ten children.

General Notes
- Nguyen Thi Lai graduated as Red Cross nurse, She worked in Bien Hoa hospital untill Viet Nam collapsed. With her husband, and 5 small kids, the family moved back to Gia Phuoc village, lived on a piece of land given by her father and to established a new like . As ther brothers and sisters they carried a humble life to raise their children and to survise over the post-war period when economical hardship the political harrassenent struck very hard the whole country, specially for those who were involved with former regime.

- Lài (Thứ 4) attended Lê Lợi- Private High School in Bến Tre full time at high or secondary level in High School. She completed the program and gained a certificate.
  She attended Red cross nursing school in Sai Gon on a professional or technical course in Red Cross Nurse. She completed the program and gained a certificate.
