Susan Eva Phillis

Susan was born on November 5th, 1871 in Hummocks, Talunga, S.A..¹ Susan's father was John Phillis and her mother was Elizabeth Turner. Her maternal grandparents were John Browning Turner and Jane Atkins. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Percy, Francis, John, Jane, Harriet, Ellen and Edith. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on March 22nd, 1957 in Tumby Bay.
