Robert William Phillis

Robert was born on June 26th, 1869 in Mt. Pleasant. S.A..¹ Robert's father was John Phillis and his mother was Elizabeth Turner. His maternal grandparents were John Browning Turner and Jane Atkins. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Percy, Francis, John, Jane, Harriet, Susan, Ellen and Edith. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 74 on November 6th, 1943 in Wallaroo.
