Ellen Florence Phillis

Ellen was born on November 14th, 1877 in Caltowie S.A..¹ Ellen's father was John Phillis and her mother was Elizabeth Turner. Her maternal grandparents were John Browning Turner and Jane Atkins. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Percy, Francis, John, Jane, Harriet, Susan and Edith. She was the seventh oldest of the nine children.
