Euphrosine was born about 1130 in Kiev, Ukraine.1   Euphrosine's father was Grand Duke Mstislas of Kiev I and her mother was Ljubava Saviditsch of Novgorod.  Her paternal grandparents were Grand Duke of Kiev Vladimir (Monomach) Rurik of Kiev II and Princess of England Gytha Haroldsdottir (of Wessex); her maternal grandparents were Dmitri Saviditsch and <Unknown>. She had a brother named Vladimir. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Izyaslav, Vsevolod, Roman, Svyatopolk, Rostislav, Kseniya, Ingeborg, Malmfrida, Mariya, Irina, Rogneda and Marie.  She died in 1186 in Byzantium, Turkey.1

Euphrosine and Geza were married in 1146.1   They had four sons and four daughters, named Istvan, Bela, Geza, Arpad, Erszbebet, Odola, Ilona and Margit.
