Saint Maria Monamacha

Maria was born about 1032 in Constantinople, Byzantine Empire.¹ Maria's father was Constantine of Constantinople IX and her mother was Helena Skleraina. Her paternal grandparents were Theodocius Monomachus and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Basileios Skleros and Pulcheria Argyropoulina. She was an only child. She died in November 1067.¹

Maria and Vsevolod were married in 1046.² They had a son and two daughters, named Monomach, Anna and Eupraxia.
