Reuben Alexander Mathews 
Reuben Alexander was born on June 4th, 1872 in California. Reuben Alexander's father was Benjamin Franklin Mathews and his mother was Mahala "Mahalie" Ann Whiteman. His maternal grandparents were David Waldo Whiteman and Martha Jane Bryant. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert Lee, John David, William Jesse and Anna. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named George Headly and Martha Ellen. He died at the age of 65 on November 16th, 1937 in Prob Newport, Orange County, California.General Notes
