Sarah Jane Chandler 
Sarah Jane was born about 1855 in Webster County, Kentucky. Sarah Jane's father was James Madison Chandler and her mother was Margaret Jane Ramsey. Her maternal grandparents were Alexander Ramsey and Bethany Phillips. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Alexander W., James Madison, William Theodore, Orlando S., Mary E., Margaret A., Laura Josephine and Queen L.. She was the third oldest of the nine children.General Notes
