Margaret Jane Ramsey 
Margaret Jane was born on January 30th, 1831 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. Margaret Jane's father was Alexander Ramsey and her mother was Bethany Phillips. Her paternal grandparents were James Ramsey and Margaret (Peggy) Kerr. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Andrew Phillip, James, John G., Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Bethany, Sarah B. and Lucinda. She was the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes
