Andrew Jackson 'Jack' was born on December 30th, 1844 in TN.  Andrew Jackson 'Jack''s father was Joseph N. Simmons and his mother was Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Lewis.  His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin Lewis, Joseph Henry Knox, James D., George Washington, Mamie Elizabeth, Katherine and Maryann.  He was the youngest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Francis M..  He died at the age of 61 on December 21st, 1906 in White Co, TN.  He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Doyle, White Co, TN.
