Samuel G. Dewhitt

Samuel G. was born on September 7th, 1870 in Jefferson Co, IL.¹ Samuel G.'s father was William Ashbury Dewhitt and his mother was Lydia Anna Wall. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Wall and Eliza Reed Grant. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Henry, Alan Wakefield, William Willard, Clyde, Florence Estelle, Eliza Elizabeth, Mary Etta, Anna Evaline, Leuna Iona and Nancy Ellen. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at 1 months old on October 7th, 1870 in Jefferson Co, IL. He was buried in Wall Farm Cemetery, On Scrivner Farm Southeast Of Belle Rive, Jefferson Co, IL.¹¹
