Leuna Iona Dewhitt

Leuna Iona was born on June 6th, 1887 in Elk Falls, Elk Co, KS.¹ Leuna Iona's father was William Ashbury Dewhitt and her mother was Lydia Anna Wall. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Wall and Eliza Reed Grant. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel G., Joseph Henry, Alan Wakefield, William Willard, Clyde, Florence Estelle, Eliza Elizabeth, Mary Etta, Anna Evaline and Nancy Ellen. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 28 on October 28th, 1915 in Buffalo, Wilson Co, KS.¹
